Losing Strickland will hurt but Carolina is still the odds on favorite. I am just glad somebody else is coming on strong. Might as well be FSU. I am tired of this conference being two teams. I miss the 80s when 6 of the 8 teams were a threat to win on any given night.

We’ll see. I’ll not knock FSU, as they’ve gotten on a hot streak. I’ll also not defend UNC, as they’ve lost their 2 guard and best defender for the year. I will say bball season is a long one, and is not over. UNC has one ACC loss with winnable (some might say probable wins) from here on out. Are FSU fans confident they’ll win out?

Hell no… They’re so inconsistent… They played well last week because of the names on the front of their opponent’s jerseys… got UVA twice, and Duke again in Tally.

But I’ve seen crazier things happen.

Amen to that… and FSU is a threat to win on any given night… I love watching that defense and the brand that Coach Ham has made at FSU… I wish they could score consistently.

In all honesty, this shouldn’t be surprising as FSU should have beaten VCU to get to the Elite 8 last season and returned a lot of experience. Hamilton’s done a good job as FSU has recruited 6’10-7-0’ Bigs like UNC has always had. But for the first time, UNC’s not the only team with serious height advantages in the ACC anymore and they found that out a week and a half ago in Tallahassee.

I’d say UNC has rebounded nicely from the FSU loss. Too bad they don’t play again.
