Don’t really have a surprise this year. VT has three targets remaining—all 4 stars: WR Joel Caleb, DE Ken Ekanem, and DT Korren Kirven.
VT is the heavy, heavy favorite for Caleb and Ekanem and the odds on favorite for Kirven. I expect to land all three. Kirven seems to be the most questionable at this juncture.
The biggest surprise for Clemson would probably be Ronald Darby at this point. Far fetched at this point really, but it would basically be a blindside and a huge surprise/pickup if he chose Clemson.
Considered a UGA lock, but this popped up today or yesterday of Todd Gurley….HMMM. I know players get free shirts and hats sometimes at camps or whatever but, after committing fully to UGA why wear a Clemson hat? Could there be a surprise tomorrow?? The plot thickens. We shall find out tomorrow.
