They are saying they could double Clemson and FSU TV money to $35 million with a new TV contract. TB12 could be right here. Apparently they do have those exploratory committees going.

It is being reported that the ACC stands to make a whopping 1-2 million dollar per year with the addition of Pitt and Syracuse. Wow….

Now the SEC is staying at 8 conference games which will allow teams like Miss St to continue with 2-6 record in conference and still being bowl eligible.
With a 9 game schedule, there will be teams that won’t make it to a bowl, plus losing an extra OOC game with the extra traveling cost to these paradises and the potential loss of bowl revenue has the appearance of being a marginal plus to a potential net loser in money…..great job Swofford.
I think 35 Million is pie-it-the-sky money to the Big 12, but if the money is anywhere near that Clemson and FSU would be insane to not take that and run.
It seems to me that the UNC fans truly don’t understand and even resent Clemson and FSU’s potential pursuit of a new conference home over staying in the shang-ri-la conference called the ACC….
Pitt and Syracuse show you what adding a basketball school to a conference does…...very little. The extra revenue won’t be worth the extra expenses and loss of home games.
