How about that win today? I know Italy was a bit shorthanded but we didn’t have Donovon. Tim Howard is a man. I was glad to see Michael Bradley play so well too. Great win.

Absolutely! It is still disconcerting that we were thoroughly outplayed for the majority of the game, but it is always good to pick up a win like that. One of the biggest problems that our team has is that our guys do not believe that they can compete with the best teams. Wins like this should add confidence and help us down the road.

I don’t think they can compete with the best teams on the highest level… USA won’t be able to compete until our best athletes start playing soccer… If Lebron, Kobe, Mike Vick, Michael Jordan, D-Wade, or Randy Moss grew up playing soccer, then nobody could mess with us at the sport!!.. But we got a bunch of scrubs running around out there.
