After watching Game Change on HBO about Palin, no doubt she’s an self absorbed moron. But I knew that… so no big shocker.

However, I have a new found respect for John McCain. He likely would have lost no matter who he picked in 08 after the Bush years. However picking Palin cost him and the entire republican party years of destruction.

McCain is a real man of principles. It’s a shame more righties don’t follow suit instead of following Rush, Koch brothers, Hannity and others who have highjacked the party. Sure, McCain is a war monger, however there is no doubt he puts ‘country’ first while what’s going on right now is harming our country. He admits as much to Palin before his concession speech in 08.

He’s old, out of touch on most issues, but he’s a man of principle, a smart guy who loves our country… I respect McCain, not that it matters to you all.
