I’ve been to the Carolina Tar Heel basketball museum, 98, and I agree. It is an awesome collegiate sports museum

Sigh…I now have a reason to dislike Creighton for all time just like LSU for Kenny Smith back in 84.
Kansas played out of their minds. I would have much rather played Purdue or NCSU.

At least the baseball Heels are fun to follow.

Yes, we missed Kendall, and Henson was hobbled, but what a great effort guys!  Wilmington’s Stillman White had 0 turnovers in two games. James Michael McAdoo is going to be a force. Oh, and the Tar Heel baseball team beat the Pack today, 4-3!!!

White and McAdoo will probably never play on the same team again.

Oh well, the steam ran out and UNC couldn’t match that last KU run. White is off on his mormon mission to work on his jump shot, Barnes, Henson, and maybe Marshall are gone. Zeller is done after a fine UNC career. Marcus Paige will be a fine PG. McAdoo will be a superstar before he leaves. RW didn’t cry this time, which tells me he was kind of expecting it happen sooner or later. I kept the faith, but it’s mighty tough for a team to lose players for stretches, and the whole season, like UNC has and still win big. No ACC in in the Final Four. That doesn’t happen often, and I hope it doesn’t happen again.

Honestly I’m impressed UNC has fans that care. And care you guys do….

Congrats on a fine season. It’s amazing to me all the big time conferences are represented in the Final Four with the exception of the basketball dominated ACC.

It’s no secret the ACC didn’t have a lot of great to very good teams this year, and for a couple of previous years. I do feel that as far as the major conferences go the Big10 was the best this year. The BigEast is always deep and competitive. The SEC has and will have 1- 2 good teams. The Big12 had two good teams this year. I don’t think anyone hear was thinking KU wuold make it and Mizzou was lose in the first round. Going forward I think the ACC will reassert itself pretty well. UNC, Duke, NCSU, Maryland, UVa, and FSU are all good or getting there quickly. All in all, though, it will be tough for any conference to maintain dominance as parity continues to show itself.

It is amazing to me also that the ACC isn’t there either since it has only happened 6 times in in the past 25. Plus 2 of the last three championships belong to the ACC but yeah the conference has failed. Who beat WVU the last time yall made the final four? I dont remember. How many has WVU won btw? One day maybe Carolina will aspire to WVU’s greatness I guess. I hope we become a school that has to go 1000 miles away to find a conference that wants them. Until then we will have to settle for being a top 5 athletic program year in, year out. Sucks to be us.

I think the NBA thinks that the ACC needs to improve too since they keep taking the best players from the conference. Wonder if any of these guys would make the difference over the years…
Barnes, Henson, Marshall, Ed Davis, Brandon Wright, Raymond Felton, Ty Lawson, Sean May, McCants, Jordan, Worthy, Stackhouse, Wallace, Jamison so on so forth etc etc.

We will just have to settle for 2 in the past 7 championships I guess under our Hall of Fame coach. Maybe he can pick up a thing or two from Bob Huggins I guess. Carolina needs more thugs and DWIs in its basketball program. South Carolina obviously does since they hired Huggins disciple Frank Martin. But they just think they are called Carolina…not the same.

—-Thing is I really don’t mind WVU and wish the ACC had brought yall in, never had an issue with WVU outside of you but if you are gonna take a shot at my school, then you might as well hear the truth in return.
