Just 3 first round picks and several others sprinkled in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

There will probably be a bunch of 4-7 round ACC guys coming off the boards from the ACC schools that will become really good NFL players like Matt Daniels, George Bryan, Dwight Jones, Donte Paige-Moss, Lamar Miller and the list goes on.

It’s hard to believe that Lamar Miller was the only player picked that you listed. In particular, I thought Matt Daniels from Duke and Dwight Jones from UNC were significantly better than many of the other drafted players at their respective position.

I can see why teams shyed away from drafting Dwight Jones, but Matt Daniels was one of the best college safties and a hard hitter. He may not have the measurables like the other guys, but if you watched him play he was an impact player in every game I watched.

It’s hard to believe some times that these GMs know what they are doing, every year you have several draft selections that are head scratchers and this year is no different.

Colts got a STEAL with Dwayne Allen that’s all I know.  Can’t wait to see him with Luck.  Allen fell because of a 40 time, watch some Clemson film and see if that really matters, this guy is s beast and the colts got him, the other best TE in the draft and the best QB.  Stolen in the third round.

The “ACC” (FSU) should have a strong draft class next year. Which will suck in a way.

Neither can I. NFL is all about measurables and potential, though.

I can… That dude is pretty good… He played in that BS offense and still had some good catches.

I think everyone is getting too caught up in the few highlight catches that he made. He also dropped numerous passes that he easily should have caught, and he never proved to be an outstanding route-runner. I certainly think that he is good enough to play in the NFL, but there is absolutely no way that I would have used a second round pick on him.
