Yep… here we go.

What scares me right now is i’m hearing FSU and Louisville first, Clemson can’t be left behind.  It literally will cripple Clemson athletics for decades.  We can’t.  We need to be proactive rather than reactive.

I must admit, I’m not real happy about this. FSU is a east coast team. The ACC under normal circumstances would be the ideal place for FSU. I’m afraid that there is alot of truth to the ACC’s leadership being unfit to rule.

Won’t hear that from anyone involved with UNC or Duke though LOL Everyone else can see it.  Its been like this since the 80s.

No question about it now, just a matter of time before FSU is a Big XII team.

Jimbo is not a big talker, when he says something like this there is probably something in the works. Need to have at least clemson go with FSU. It would be even better if Clemson, VT, Miami and FSU left.

The big kicker that enraged them is the ACC keeping second tier rights for basketball and giving them away in football. Did he say basketball? basketball?

If I am not mistaken FSU could have their own channel in the big 12. That is where the money is. And that is where FSU is holding their chips, argue if you will but FSU draws viewers of a national audience right up there under Notre Dame.

You don’t make money on how many fans go to games, the money is in TV. I am not going out and watch a game in Texas or Oklahoma but it is a different story when they come to Tallahassee.

You don’t have to wonder or listen to talking heads jaw about whether FSU would have no chance vs OU, Texas or even OSU, WVU, you find out on the field every year. And FSU would fill up the stadium for those home games. They would make some money doing it also,  I don’t care if FSU lost to OU, at least we would be settling it on the field.

Looks like this story has legs. Spetman denied it but so did Missouri concerning a move to the SEC. Sometimes that is your tip off when the AD plays dumb.

Andy Haggard said ‘3rd tier rigts were kept in basketball and sold off in football’. I’m not sure how accurate that statement is, it was my understanding that all rights were sold off.
