2006-11th
2007-13th
2008-9th

This list does not include bowl games…& as the joke goes, WVU just scored on Steele’s D again.  Even still there seems to be some discrepancies in the #s, & I’ll take the NCAA’s stats over USA Today’s.  Either way, I’m still not worried about your point…yet.

This is what I couldn’t get over under Tommy Bowden. I get that sometimes you’re going to lose games, even ones you shouldn’t, but I could never get over the fact that they came our with no intensity. If you play hard and lose, it happens, but there is not excuse for coming out the way they did in some big games.

I couldn’t agree more.  When Bowden first showed up, you couldn’t find someone more excited then myself.  However, it became quickly apparent that the team lacked intensity.  When Bowden was on his game and prepared, I would put him up against any coach in the country, but when he would inexplicably take games off, the team would tank as a result.  Groups take on the persona of their leaders, & to watch him look beaten and despondent on the sidelines killed me…& then it killed the team when you’d see them give up on the field.

Agreed. I knew we were done whenever I saw that folder tucked into the front of his pants and then him taking a knee 30 yards down the sideline.

Oklahoma was significantly better than clemson in scoring defense (31 to 81) which to me is the best indicator. The wva game could have something to do with that.
