When Gov.  Scott Walker wins his recall race tonight over the Union Thugs that tried to unseat a faily elected sitting Governor that committed no crimes, will signal the beginning of a national assault on the Labor Unions and their insane control over Government that has greatly contributed to unemployment in this country.

When Walker wins, This will be a major blow to Obama, Unions, Big Government, Etc….In short..it is on!

Then we will see Obamacare shot down by SCOTUS and that will be yet another political defeat for the left and for Obama…....With the bad jobs bill on top of these political defeats so close to the election, All Mitt Romney needs to do is just stay on course and hammer Obama’s record and it will be over for the Obama Presidency…..

Agree on Youth, but they are disenchanted and will not turn out like 2008…

Disagree on the Elderly…....

Agree on Minorities…..

Disagree on Evangelical Christians..they will eventually come around given the choice

Disagree on Independents…..

Tea Party..See Evangelical Christians…........

Ron Paul…..Again, will choose the less of 2 evils….

All the more reason they will vote for Garry Johnson, I was in the car with my dad listening to some good ole christian radio, and a lot of the callers were concerned about having to choose between a mormon and a muslim to be president, the host was suggesting to look further down the ticket.

and if the recall fails in wisconsin, obama is going to get HUGE (even more than normal) donations from unions (even though 60% of union employees are republicans-irony)  and if SCOTUS over turns his health care mandate its going to give him a rallying point. Health care was one of the big issues for the youth in the last election.

Ill agree on that, but i think the unions themselves need to be changed in how they function. I read this article saying that nationally about 60% of card carrying union members are republicans or vote primarily republican, but 97% of union donations favor democrats

somethings not right with that,
I think they are necessary, but i dont trust them any more than i would a corperate exec board

A number of other states are watching to see how this plays out and when Walker wins, you will see other states start acting to reel in the Union thuggery

Yea, I get that part. I’m wondering what Union Thuggery is and exactly how that, whatever it is, affects jobs?

well case and point, read about what happened with the Boeing plant in Charleston. SC is a right to work state (you cant be compelled to join a union), the plant was unionized, the members voted to disband the union, The union THEN sued boeing saying that locating in SC was retaliation for prior strikes, and instead of dragging it out in court boeing settled and basically all of the work that was supposed to be done in SC is now done in washington (compelled union membership state) and SC basically screws in all the interior parts and gets to do the test flight

So if I remember right, and I could be wrong, but I believe this Boeing deal is a result of big business in Washington state flexing on the workers at a Boeing plant in Washington when they went on strike. So when the union representing the workers filed suit against Boeing, Boeing said ok, we’ll get you, we will move our new plant to a right to work state such as SC where employees have no say so.

Then the newly elected right wing nut jobs made it all political and started questioning, and raising a bunch of hell over of the National Labor Board, which is an independent group federally ran, which they don’t like anyway because they protect workers verses big business fat cats like the Koch brothers…... long story short, it’s all tied up in court…

Is that what your indicating?

Thats certainly the media version, but ive followed this case very closely, seen some of the original documents and transcripts, so let me lay some facts down for you

1) the strikes in washington were over, settled, and done with, years before the dreamliner plant was even being discussed. Boening did not fire anyone, the washington plants did not loose any jobs, nobody lost any benefits or pay (infact employees collected a dividend of the money the company had set aside to build that wasnt used because the SC tax payers footed the bill) The charleston was nothing but newly created jobs, and it also created promotions for experienced workers from others plants.

2) the “retaliation” suit came off of a statement made by a VP that was taken out of context. His entire statement was basically “we considered many facts before deciding to locate in charleston: its proximity to a major port, the already in placed major air strips used by the army and airforce for c130s, the location along the eastern seaboard, the climate, SC’s right to work laws, the availability of skilled labor, the technical college system, the tax incentives, etc etc.”

What the unions lynch pin was that they said they considered SC’s status as right to work, which is a weak case, but the NLRB chose to persue the case, largely in part because its general council is a democrat (union lobby) appointee, as is the majority of its board, but the vast majority of legal experts all expected boeing to beat the case.

But this was never about beating the case, it was about dragging Boeing’s stock price down and tieing them up with legal fees for years negotiating through the appellate up to the supreme court.

Boeing settled.

but the real issue that was never explored was did the union retaliate against the former union members for decertifying….and my opinion is yes
