4 ex coaches are volunteering to be on the selection committee if it’s decided that’s how its gonna be done selecting the top 4 teams for the playoff. Lavel, Edwards, RC Slocum, John Cooper and Bobby Bowden.

Although I put a lot of stock into the opinions of veteran coaching legends, I think a system which allowed a small number of individuals to choose the participants in the playoff would lead to tremendous controversy. I think the most fair way to do it would be to keep the BCS system and to use the current formula to determine the particpants. Just my two cents.
