Been some chatter about this lately. “source” aside (Multiple people saying it), if these numbers are correct then there ya go, there is one of your reasons teams are shopping around. What a train wreck. This was a good deal?!?!
the numbers on the ACC contract SUPPOSEDLY are:
1. Schools start at 13 million and it goes up $500K a year.
2. Scheduled to hit 17 million in 2021
3. ACC is “withholding” money to invest, in order to get a return to make a “balloon payment” in 2025 for the lifetime of the contract… making it an avg. of 17 million.
Look for some articles to come out in the future, much like the Forbes article, detailing this.
