Reports just coming out tonight, there will be more in the morning.  Early UNOFFICIAL news:  Ladarious Phillips (former Auburn player), Eric Mack, and Ed Christian have all been shot at a pool party at Auburn.  Ladarious Phillips died in the hospital and Ed Christian was pronounced dead at the scene.

No idea who else if anyone else was involved.  Sad day for the Auburn Tigers, keep them in your thoughts/prayers.  No one deserves this.

Eric Mack now being reported dead…....soooooooo terrible.  That makes 3 current/former Auburn players dead.  Supposedly there were more victims but no other players, unconfirmed reports.

Wow! What caused this?

Just woke up to this news…Wow! Thoughts and Prayers go out to the families of these kids as well as the whole Auburn family. Wow!!

I’ve read a few articles this am and it doesn’t appear the authorities have a clue of what has happened although some reports say it was a fight over a girl….sounds like a good reason to pull a gun!?! Tragic

So sad and senseless. Prayers for all those involved, the victims and their families.

Shows you how fluid information can be.  Apparently Eric Mack is still alive thankfully (still unconfirmed however).  There is an Xavier Moss that was checked into the hospital at the same time with a gunshot wound to the leg, could be another victim….could be a freak second incident somewhere else.  Will know more when police hold a press conference at 11am Central time.

This is just terrible news. My thoughts and prayers certainly go out to all parties involved.

None of the subjects apart from the shooter was above 20 years old.  3 dead, 3 in the hospital.  One in the hospital is fighting for his life (not Eric Mack…he will be fine).  Cheif of police made it clear, the only connection Auburn Football has with this is they are the VICTIMS of a violent shooting.

Suspect named (Desmonte Leonard, 22) and is said to be on the run, active manhunt underway.  He is being charged with Capital Murder x 3.  Local, State, AND federal law enforcement are involved in the search and they hope to make an arrest today.

I certainly hope they catch the individual responsible for these senseless crimes. It is terrible to think that someone would do this to innocent people.

Sad and unfortunately all too common in our society.
