And for those of you wondering, I wouldn’t suggest taking the BOT’s statement today as the true one. He said we are 1000% IN the ACC…..why yes, yes we are, for now. Remember what Missouri and A&M were saying last year before they bolted at the last minute? Just stall tactics waiting on the BCS IMO.

I am done with “The Dude”.............I am now of the opinion that he is making these stories up now. It reminds me of an old Mel Gibson movie called “Conspiracy Theory” where his character got on radio and kept making stories until one of his theories was truly and the bad guys went after him…..this is what the “dude” has been Doing. If the story happens to be true, he makes a name for himself and maybe moves up in the media world, if not he stands to loose very little because he his a clever spin-doctor.
This is a perfect time to see who really is the credible source. We will see now won’t we. Bowlsby takes office tomorrow officially for the B12, and he loves those East Coast markets….I hope to see some real movement soon.
I really don’t believe the Big12 needs to expand or should expand. The only school that is kinda out there on an island is WVU and maybe Iowa State is a little isolated too. It may mean WVU has to travel further, but at the same time they get to play Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and a few others that are mildly amusing. They even play Maryland regulary now and if they just wanted to they could probably work out another game or 2 against ACC or Big East opponents. All in all they could have 7-8 games every year at their home and in their region.
I’d love to see where he says he made it up. And like I said, if I’m wrong I’ll still be around to take the ridicule…..won’t make me like the ACC anymore then I do now and you’ll most likely still see me bash it constantly, but I won’t run. I’m not just taking the Dude as the only source by the way….

Maybe TB12 will back me that Honus Snead was busted on a WVU message board using multiple handles as his sources to invent the Big 12 expansion story. I know TB12 has posted before that Snead has no credibility. I like the analogy to Mel Gibson’s character in Conspiracy Theory. If you throw enough darts in the dark you eventually will hit something.
Listen I give the guy credit, as a blogger he has made himself a superstar in the college football blog world, and may have driven the news enough to actually make something happen. Just know that it all began with a spurned WVU fan who has shown their disdain with the ACC and took it out on yall in the Orange Bowl and may actually make something out of nothing.
Son we don’t need Honus Snead, you already have Seminole, (me) leading you to the light. I might add as well, heavy weight FSU donors, trustees and members of the BOT who will tell you the same thing.
When this is over I am afraid only Clem and I will have any credibility here.
All Dabo is saying is hey I just won the ACC and now you want me to go to a conference where WVU is rated #4 and just laid 70 points on me?

We will see, a few people have said it. ND is causing most of the hold up, if not all of it. The situation is fluid, just like its ALWAYS been. We were told we’d go through a period of misinformation so, its not done quite yet. And again, I’m not going to claim victory or admit defeat until Aug 15.
If we are wrong all that means is you have to hear me and Sem talk about expansion all the way until 2014, don’t all get excited at once.

Credibility? Eh, I just post what comes to me, I’ve said before I’m not a source nor do I have a inside source. Am I really trying to be a credible “source” myself? I still stand behind my statements about the ACC turning into nothing. In this new system SOS is involved and will hit the ACC hard. The ONLY possible way an ACC team gets to play is with an undefeated record and even then its iffy. One loss won’t get you there. Just wait and see. They graciously gave us the Orange bowl against an opponent still to be determined…..aka we’ll stick you with whoever is left, because it won’t matter anyway.
The committee will consider win-loss record, strength of schedule, head-to-head results and whether a team is a conference champion.
SOS, oh interesting. ACC has no chance. Win loss? Ok, so we might be able to attract some attention with a 12-0 record…...until they look at SOS. ACC championship does not hold a candle to SEC, Big 12, B1G, or Pac 12 champion. We’re done, I’m standing behind that 100%. How are you going to find an objective person for a selection committee not knowing how the ACC has been perceived over the past few years anyway? Are you really as oblivious to this as Swofford and the VT president who voted for this thing?? Don’t get me wrong I like the model, but it doesn’t favor the ACC AT ALL. Our seat at the table was graciously given to us in the form of the Orange bowl against TBD (Big East, MWC, WAC, etc). Give me a breakkkkkkkkkkkkkk.
I cannot believe people are really lacking this much common sense. People are literally blinded by what Swofford is feeding you…..and he’s eating up what the big 4 conferences are feeding him and can’t even see past it. Wow.
