The only reason they got 19 mil a school this year is because they had 4 exit fees factored in cut 8 ways instead of 12 and were allowed to keep their old contract despite losing 4 schools. Don’t you guys get that the ESPN/ACC deal is about exposure. The Pitt/Syracuse add you keep complaining about got the deal renogiated and got your broke school a 4 million dollar raise for nothing. ESPN told them that WVU wasnt going to get them any more money even though you and I would rather have them. Plus EVERY SINGLE ACC FOOTBALL AND BASKETBALL GAME IS ON TV NOW!!! That is not true in the Big 12, especially since they don’t even have a deal and their old one as a 12 team conference was smaller than the ACC one. The ESPN3 thing you make fun of too is how people are going to watch games in the future. I watch games now through the Watch ESPN app and that is how it will be from here on out. EVERY ACC GAME IS ON THERE NOW.

Just cause you say it doesn’t make it true. I am not trying to put you down. FSU is a name brand and a huge deal to the ACC no doubt, but your money calculations just arent true.
I know you have a tough time with this but the exploratory committee at FSU has already estimated FSU won’t get anywhere near the 15 million Texas gets but indicate 5 million is a rock bottom low estimate. FSU will get somewhere between 5 and 10 million. That is simply not debatable.
FSU is right up their in view popularity with Notre Dame and USC. FSU vs Miami still breaks ESPN viewer ship records. You understand this about as well as Swofford, who likes to schedule FSU in Boston to play in sleet storms and just another reason FSU needs to separate. FSU will decide it’s own value, media rights and you and Swofford won’t have much to do with it.

They get smaller companies than Raycom to subcontract their production. That is where the Big 12 gets their games because no one watches it. Your future big 12 dream matchup with TCU was played a few years ago in Clemson. THERE WAS NO TV FOR IT!!!!!

Saw a stat where 90 percent of Clemson’s football team is from Florida, Georgia, SC and NC. And you wonder why Dabo says talk of the Big 12 is killing them? But yeah, he lured in that big recruit with games that aren’t on the schedule and never will be.
Some numbers rumored from the last negotiation with ESPN. It reflects adding the two teams and the CCG, not the CCG alone. FSN is rumored to be renegotiating with the B12 also increasing ~$2 Mil per team and adding Friday night games to increase their inventory. All told we’re looking at $25-28 Mil each before tier 3 TV money is added. Tier 3 estimated by the FSU BOT is at least 5 million at the lowest and possibly 8 million. But I am not the one you need to convince, it is the FSU BOT and I am afraid they have already made up their mind. Easy choice.
