“We are about to start a dynasty at Clemson.” - Nkemdiche

That’s after another teammate, QB Nick Schuessler, has chosen Clemson.  Our chances look better and better to keep Nkemdiche.

Much like Gallman, he will never see the field.  We’re set @ QB right now.  So, unless he switches to another position (what I don’t know), the only thing that makes sense is that he’s an insurance policy for Nkemdiche.

Oh I know, not worried about him (Nick) really, he’s just a way to secure Nkemdiche.

I don’t think Tiger fans should be worrying about Nkemdiche. Alabama fans have no reason to believe that he will switch his pledge. Nkemdiche never enjoyed the recruiting process, and I find it hard to believe that he would open things back up.

Yeah, Nkemdiche’s commitment is about as solid as it could be w/o actually having a signed LOI, but in this day and age a commitment is not a commitment until it’s in writing.  Unfortunately a person’s word just isn’t what it used to be…& the younger someone is, the worse it is.  That said, I don’t get the sense that Nkemdiche is flaky, & something would really have to go wrong for him to switch.  Insurance never hurts though.

Agreed…In fact, Clemson over then next several years should be on a competitive high point making it very desirable for top recruits to want to play at….I wished it was legal to send him a fruit basket or something to show we are thinking of him….
