In a recent article I proposed a six team college football playoff format. Would love to hear what you guys think of the format and what format(s) you believe would be best for the game.

I flip flopped so many times on what I wanted for a playoff and i’m sure it will change again, but I would like to see all 4 BCS bowls used with the conference champions from the big 5 used and that would leave 3 at large teams. I think SoS absolutely needs to weigh heavier in the computers or selection committee when deciding where these schools should rank.

Because of the bowl tie-ins and it has been determined that a true 8 team playoff is off the table for now, whoever the 2 best teams left over after the 4 BCS bowls play in the championship game.

I really like that concept. I believe more is better and six isn’t to many and enough. Good read..

I believe the winners of the SEC/Big 12 should play the winners of the Big10/PAC for the national championship and the rest of the losers should concentrate on basketball and hockey.

Any playoff format that does not theoretically give every FBS team a chance of participating is unfair, in my opinion. There needs to be at least one at-large bid to make it a truly fair format.
