Gamecock class at its finest.  I don’t doubt his word at all, I’ve heard it before.  Terrible sports when they lose.

It’s not just South Carolina… There are racist people everywhere.

Its not just South Carolina, but this situation it is.  And having dealt with it all of my life I can tell you this is not surprising to me at all.  I mean seriously, who sends death threats to a college kid.  No doubt someone like in the picture below.

ive got a friend whos a citadel alum, but hes a life long carolina fan, and was in grad school at carolina at the time. He went to the Citadel USC baseball game a couple years ago, and got jeered out of the park by some of the other fans because baseball powerhouse USC was beating a school smaller than most highschools. Later he confided in me that he understood why clemson fans hate them so much. He said he has been to clemson/carolina many times and was never treated half as bad as he was by the carolina fans at a baseball game when he was wearing citadel blue.

The problem for him was the he made a point about the entire state rather than the few idiots that were seated behind his position. I was glad to see that he backed off of his statement. It may be because he’s probably going to be playing in Charleston soon since that’s a Yankees organization.
