I always liked that dude for sticking his neck out for FSU and busting some heads when FSU did not recieve enough votes to get in on the first vote.
It amazes me how short sighted some of these school officials are that they would reject Penn State and nearly FSU. I hold 2 things against Swofford (1) is the crappy officiating in the ACC and (2) not being able to turn some of these no votes into yes’s when it would help the ACC. That’s what makes Gene stand out from Swofford.
