Should not their regular pay increase too? And when they are part of the big 6 bowl sites, should not they demand to have a better than #5 or #6 SEC team playing the #2 or #3 ACC team?

If i’m not mistaken, the SEC bowl pecking order goes like this:

1 Playoff
2 Champions
3 Sugar
4 Cotton
5 Citrus
6 CFA
7 Outback
8 Gator
9 Music City
10 Liberty

The ACC goes something like this:

1 Playoff
2 Orange
3 CFA
4 Russell (Champs)
5 Sun
6 Belk
7 Music City
8 Independence
9 Military

Yeah you would think so.  Is the Outback bowl really behind the CFA bowl for the $EC?  Isn’t it a New Year’s day bowl?

I heard on the radio on the Tim Brando show that the conferences are going to work together to rearrange the bowls and the pecking order. Expect a lot of shaking up to come but in the end it should mean better matchups and better games with better geographic tie ins hopefully.

Finally college football is going to run the bowls instead of the other way around. We will all benefit.
