Terrible to hear this news. I certainly extend my thoughts and prayers to Blair Holliday and his friends and family.

Apparently this is more serious than even his status in critical condition might indicate. According to an eye witness, Holliday stopped breathing on multiple occasions following the accident, and had to be brought back to life using CPR. Not much is known about his status at this time, but I will continue to pray for Blair and his family.

Also heard that TE Braxton Deaver may have broke his kneecap. Not a great week for Duke football.

The word seems to be that he is holding stable. Someone said that he was able to give a Duke player a thumbs up at the hospital. I’m very hopeful that he will be able to play again, but more importantly I just want him to be able to live a long and normal life.
