...the top bowls could look like this:

Playoffs (CFA) = FSU vs LSU

Playoffs (Rose) = Okla vs USCw, [BIG misses playoff]

Champions = USCe vs Texas

Orange = Clemson vs Wisconsin

Fiesta = Oregon vs Michigan

Sugar = VT vs Bama

Boise State also a possible choice for the Orange, Fiesta and Sugar.

You’re delusional, didn’t we already try this 2 ACC team deal in the post season? You have 3 LOL.

If you run the table in the ACC you’re still not getting a sniff. Projecting VT and Clemson is one thing, but literally saying that and FSU in the National Championship proves your completely lost or well moreso, delusional.

There are alot of delusional people besides myself then since some of these guys have FSU winning the national championship and still others with FSU in the top 5.

It’s not hard to imagine VT in the top 12 at the end of the regular season since they usually end up there every season.

Clemson is the reigning ACC champion and stacked with talent. Impossible right?

Since VT plays FSU and Clemson…which I think They lose plus I see a few other possible loses due to a very questionable offense, I don’t see VT in the mix….They are due for a bit of a down year

Agreed with TB12, especially if SOS was factored in for the playoffs THIS YEAR.  FSU would be toast.  I can see 1 ACC team at the very least, and Clemson wins the battle of schedule between FSU, VT and Clemson.

FSU’s SOS will be plenty tough to get into a playoff with 1 loss. South Florida will be good and UF will be decent, don’t forget the ACCCG game either.

Maybe it will maybe it won’t, the fact is though you put 3 ACC teams in there.  That’s nuts IMO.  I can see 1 maybe with 2012 schedules.  And the best shot at the playoffs is Clemson simply based on schedule alone.  In a new playoff format, especially with a selection committee USF really won’t help that much despite their record.  The Big East is fading into oblivion, the committee will see that and will make decisions accordingly.  A current Big East team with Murray State and Savannah State and then Florida really isn’t all that impressive.  Though I might give them a nod over VT’s schedule since they play Florida.  I’d give the nod to a Auburn, South Carolina, Furman, and Ball State schedule before all of them however.  VT has Austin Peay, Bowling Green, Pitt, Cincinnati….not all that impressive either.

Where is West Virginia in all of this?  They are not only playing a better schedule this year but they are loaded with talent.  You’d really skip them to put 3 ACC teams in?  I’d put WVU above Clemson, and thats not just because of the Orange Bowl debacle.  They have 5 teams on the schedule this year that finished in the top 25 last year, and one that just missed.  West Virginia is my dark horse for 2012.  Would be nuts to not include them in favor of an ACC team.

What do morons like Phil Steele know? They can’t hold a candle to confirmed experts like Clemtgrs and TBE/12. FSU has no chance. There is no way the ACC could get two BCS teams much less a team in the playoff. Nevermind the stupid Orange Bowl contract stipulates exactly that.

Phil Steele is such a moron. Nobody pays attention to him. Definitely never heard of his magazine.
Tell me again how yall make a living predicting college football?

Somehow he does. Weird how he gets so much attention being so wrong.

We don’t, and I don’t think we ever claimed to try and make a living doing that.  Its an internet message board, relax.  We can have our opinions.  Sorry they are so far fetched for you.

You are right…I am sorry. Seriously. I will leave it alone.

I just wish you didn’t do so much knocking of the conference your school has been in since its inception and where it seems to appear to want to be for the foreseeable future. It almost seems like you are pulling against Clemson due to its choices, and condemning it to failure. I will never understand that.

Vegas recognizes five power teams this preseason TBE. Any of these five could win it. When Vegas talks, you need to listen.

10.5 is the highest of any team. Five teams are at 10.5 – LSU, Alabama, USC, Oregon and Florida State.
