Ruh Roh, Raggy!  May not be a huge deal.  Suspended license and marijuana possession, but I don’t think it’s a first offense.  Insight, Nole Nation?

If this was his first offense with weed then I wouldn’t get too lathered up over that.  The driving with a suspended license is a different matter if it was due to a substance or alcohol related issue.

FSU is working on bigger fish to fry. Reports from some of the FSU alumni who follow this closely report that Jim Delaney is a huge fan of adding FSU to the Big 10. He seems to be quite impressed that FSU is working toward AAU status. The CIC money awarded to research schools in in the billions. This would help FSU reach AAU status very rapidly.

His first official arrest. It was last year that a friend of his commited some crime using his scooter and Reid gave the cop a false name. The charge was later reduced.

If there is a silver lining to all of this, the first 2 games are patsies and the 3rd game against Cake Forest. Suspend him for 3 games and back in time for Clemson.

Nothing new, but it does mention Reid was pulled over by the cop for not wearing a seat belt and having illegal window tint. I imagine that the “illegal” part of the window tint means it was too dark, if that was the case how did the cop see him not wearing his seat belt?

The reason for being pulled over sounds like some petty BS to begin with.

Here is something else that is strange in general, since alot of athletes smoke weed, why is it you rarely hear about them failing drug test? Normally they are busted by cops.

i had some friends that were athletes in college,
from what i understand the NCAA tests the entire mens football and basketball teams, and the womens softball and basketball teams. for the rest of the sports 1 mens and 1 womens team is randomly tested in full, and then 1-3 players from all the rest of the teams are selected randomly.

However these tests are not random themselves, they have a set date and athletes and coaches are given notice.

You can pass a urine test for THC (weed) by chugging water all day and night before you go.

Also THC is a lipid soluble drug, so the less fat you have and the more fat you burn the less likely you are for testing positive after recently smoking

The NCAA does it’s testing but the institution itself can and, in UGA’s case will administer random testing at any time.

but i dont think the institution has to release the results, alteast a private institution, i dont know how it would work for state schools

See all of last year’s UGA “in house punishment” that resulted in game suspension list. Or should I say non-arrest suspensions.  These suspensions were all well documented.
