What I mean is the best player that only a fan of the team would know about, but every one else is kinda oblivious to him….or at least oblivious at the moment.
For FSU I have to go with nickel back / safety Terrence Brooks. When FSU had all of those injuries last year, he was one of the guys that stepped in and did a good job. He’s also the reason why 5 star safety Karlos Williams can’t seem to crack the starting line up. He will be the forgotten guy while Lamarcus Joyner, Greg Reid and Xavier Rhodes get all the glory.
I met a girl who grew up with him one night, she said its because when he was a baby he would go through a pacifier a day and would suck on them so hard they would explode….or so his moma says
but hes been that intense since before he had teeth

Nuk Hopkins….Everyone talks about Sammy Watkins, but “Nuk” is lethal
Nuk may be underrated (for now), but he’s hardly a secret. I would say Jaron Brown, who was absolutely clutch last year. He had 31 receptions last year, 29 of which went for either a first down (25) or a TD (4). That’s impressive.
I think we have a defensive secret weapon in Stephone Anthony, who I predict will be an all-ACC selection by the end of the year. Out with Steele’s confusing, hesitation-inducing system, in with Venables downhill attacking LBs. Anthony is going to be very, very good.
I think Jamison Crowder is in for a huge season for us. I have seen him in person, and I think that he is more talented than Don Varner, who had a very nice career for us.

I am with you on this. Nuk isn’t really a secret weapon.

I didn’t know of him so I looked him up and watched film. He does look like he could be very good.
I would say the one under Crowell’s seat….but that’s just not right.
I’ll go with LB Amarlo Herrera on defense and Michael Bennett on the offensive side.
Herrera is going to have to be the guy that picks up the slack on the double and triple blocks that Jarvis Jones is going to see. And Bennett could end up being the best all around WR on the field. He has really worked on his blocking assignments for the running game and is a solid #2 can be #1 option in the passing game.
The double secret weapon on Special teams has to be incoming freshman kickers PK Marshall Morgan and P Colin Barber. These kids have to perform instantly as freshman…no other choice.
