What I mean is the best player that only a fan of the team would know about, but every one else is kinda oblivious to him….or at least oblivious at the moment.

For FSU I have to go with nickel back / safety Terrence Brooks. When FSU had all of those injuries last year, he was one of the guys that stepped in and did a good job. He’s also the reason why 5 star safety Karlos Williams can’t seem to crack the starting line up. He will be the forgotten guy while Lamarcus Joyner, Greg Reid and Xavier Rhodes get all the glory.

I like Brooks. He had the big INT in the Champs Bowl right? I would say Nick OLeary on offense. We have not ever really had a true pass catcher at tight end and I think he can be that and will catch a lot of passes this year from EJ. On defense I still say Telvin Smith is a big play waiting to happen.

I would go with Kelvin Benjamin on offense (he will sneak up on a lot of defenses this season) and Tyler Hunter on defense (I don’t think he will have any problem replacing M. Harris in the nickel.)

I like these picks.

What’s the deal with every Clemson fan acting like no one knows who Hopkins is. We are well aware of your #2 receiver, I promise. The guy almost had 1,000 yards last year, the secret has been out.

Fact is, people still over look him because of the name Watkins.  Add in Boyd and Ellington and Hopkins just is a mispronounced Watkins to some people.

I think Clemson fans just like to think that. Maybe nationally its like that, but teams in the south (esp. in the ACC, and Auburn) know who he is.

For the Carolina Tar Heels this year, my surprise secret weapon sleeper is Romar Morris, RB from Salisbury, Rowan County N.C.. A redshirt freshman, he looked impressive in the spring game, and could be a tremendously valuable asset, especially if Gio Bernard were to be sidelined.

IMO Clemson’s secret weapon on offense will be TE Brandon Ford.

Dwayne Allen had the ability to show Chad Morris what a good TE can do in his offense, and Morris liked what he saw. Ford has shown some flashes in the past of his ability, but now he’s the man and IMO he’s going to make the best of his chance.

On defense it’s got to be Corico Wright at LB, because everybody will be looking for him under his old name of Corico Hawkins. LOL

I like T Brooks… But I think Telvin Smith will get some sacks this year… and Christian Jones is way underrated.

On offense… Nick O’leary will have a bigger impact… and I want to see Rashad Greene make some more impossible catches like he did against Notre Dame. (The dude pulled his gloves off and he still caught the touchdown)

Need a new slot guy with the absence of Bert Reed… maybe Christian Green??

No secret weapons… just weapons.
