for schools like Clemson, FSU & GT, the 9 game schedule hurts because we play EVERY year our in-state rival, who happens to be in another conference. So, instead of UNC/NCSU(or Duke for some), VT/UVA, it does not negatively impact their HOME schedule like these three teams noted above.
I am a Clemson fan, not an ACC fan, so you’ll have to understand that when our conference and incompetent Commissioner make changes that negatively effect MY school, I don’t like it. It is clearly unfair and biased against us; I would hope the ever-loving ACC tree-huggers would just be honest and admit that it does hurt us. Geez, this ain’t rocket science.
Outside this obvious fact, teams that get 5 home games versus teams that get 4 home games each year will have the upper hand to win the division; is that what we want as a conference?? I know I don’t.
And by the way, I could not give a rats behind what Saban thinks. He ain’t God although he thinks he is.
