I think this is the right attitude. The Oklahoma game last yr was an awesome environment and a great spotlight for the program but it came a bit too soon. Instead of being focused on the little things that spotlight brought the Gameday crew and the national media and all of the hype of a national championship and what not. We did not come out focused in that game. The injuries did not help of course but I think that week and the next versus Clemson we looked sloppy. Anyway good story. Week by week with focus on the small things is how to reach our goals.

I thought the Twitter ban was very interesting. It will certainly keep the players more focused off of the field, but they will still have to pay attention to the details at practice. E.J. Manuel was absolutely right….when you mess up a play during practice, you typically mess it up during the game. You have to be locked in 100% of the time.
