The Owners of Chicka-Fil-A have made some comments in interviews recently about there traditional Christian beliefs toward family and are opposed to gay marriage.  Most of us are from the South and these restaurants are on just about every street corner down here…........so their POV is not a big surprise to us.

Here is a link to the many stories out there on this:

http://www.thenewamerican.com/culture/family/item/12152-chick-fil-a-head-takes-stand-for-biblical-values

The Mayor of Boston and Chicago have found them a good liberal wedge issue and has decided to pick a fight with the Chicka-Fil-A people and are ginning up the LGBT base to boycott and there are saying they do not want them to have eateries in their towns.

I was wondering if this will continue to gain steam and eventually affect the Bowls and Kick-Off Classics?  I would hate to see that occur, but political correctness is out of control.

I Will not drive down a street looking for fast food having to decide which chain follows my personal or political beliefs.  That is insane.  Chick-Fil-A has had this POV from day one.  They don’t even open on Sunday’s.  This is no surprise and this as a media driven wedge issue.

I have mixed feelings about gay marriage.  I tend to follow the Nature vs Nurture belief that most choose to be that way with the few exceptions. That is just me and I don’t expect or care if anyone has a problem with that.  I also won’t stop eating Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream or Stop going to Disney World because my personal beliefs may not be in line with whatever opposing POV is in vogue.  It is not only the LGBT gang wants “equal treatment”, but they are also projecting a desire for those of opposing view to not only accept it, but to promote it.

If anything, this make me want to go eat a Chick-Fil-A Sandwich and I don’t particularly care for them.

Makes me want Chickfila…..I love Chickfila.  I don’t care what they say or stand for, I go for the food.

I’m not a fan of boycotting people with differing opinions. Plus, I really like Chick-Fil-A.

I don’t usually look to fast food chains as a moral compass… That chicken is straight up delicious.

Their beliefs may be controversial, but their food is scandal-proof.

I don’t really understand it. Why is it that the homosexual community can express their beliefs and we are supposed to be ok with it but when heterosexual communities express theirs it is the end of the world. Gay pride is apparently politically correct but straight pride is just wrong and should be boycotted etc. You can’t fight for the acceptance of one group but deny it for another. So dumb. I applaud Chick Fil a for making a stand like so many other politicians and companies have done but for the homosexual community. Plus, I’ll take a #1.

I never eat Chick Fil-A simply because I’m a vegetarian, but I may have to run out and get a milkshake from them. It would be funny if their stance on gay marriage ends up boosting their sales.

But more power to ya.

I went to chick fil-a at 3 pm in Boone yesterday, and the place was jam-packed.  I believe this attention is definitely boosting sales around here.

I guess I’ve got to try the peach shake now. It’ll go well with a number one combo!
