Okay well let’s throw HOF “Prime” out since he’s doesn’t count… Terrell Buckley, Samari Rolle, Antonio Cromartie, Mario Edwards, Chris Hope, Michael Boulware, Dexter Jackson(Super Bowl MVP), Bryant McFadden… what you got??
I already told you. Every single one but two (Virgil and Morgan) since 1999. You want me to nmae them all? Might take a while.
FSU has had great front sevens. Never said VT did. That’s why we’re DBU. Not “Front Seven U” or whatever you would like to call it.
Even the recruits are calling us DBU. See 2014 5* DeAndre Payne and 2014 4* CJ Reavis. Why do you think VT regular pulls DBs out of Florida despite offers from Florida, Bama, FSU, etc.? Because if you start at DB for VT you go to the NFL. Period.

Yeah… name them all… Because I can’t think of too many NFL studs to come from VT… educate me please.
BTW.. The DB’s you get from Florida are leftovers from FSU, UF, and UM
And I think the only reason those recruits call VT DBU is because they’re committed to VT and they are in fact DB’s.

Yeah, Donaldven Manning was a leftover! LOL! Florida, Bama, FSU, and Miami offered him because they didn’t want him! Ha! And thanks for Jayron Hosley—an All American. Glad you “overlooked” and “passed” on him. Maybe he just didn’t want to be 0-23 too. Oh yeah…. And thanks for Brandon Flowers—two time All-American. A two star. Nice talent recognition! Oh….. And Ike Charlton—a 1999 All-American. Your state produces some damn good DBs, for sure.
So…..off the top of my head….Pierson Proileau, Nick Sorenson, ike Charlton, Eric Green, Ronyell Whitaker, Vincent Fuller, Aaron Rouse, Macho Harris, Rashad Carmichael, Deangelo Hall, Brandon Flowers, Jayron Hosley, and Kam Chancellor.
Sorry if I missed a couple. Once you get passed a dozen it gets hard to remember.
Oh….and Torrian Gray. Former All-American Safety and NFL player…...and our current DB Coach…...from Florida. Thanks, again, for not wanting these guys.
LOL. how much football do you watch? Kam Chancellor has already received more prestigious accolades than De-lo as great as De-lo is/was. All-Pro. Not Pro Bowl but All-Pro. Flowers has been second team All-Pro twice. De-lo? Never. Now he’s made several Pro Bowls and of course holds the record for most picks in a game.
Furthermore, I said DBU will get you to the League—not necessarily Hall of Fame or All-Pro or whatever.
Oh….and Willie Pile, Jimmi Williams, Antonio Banks, Kevin McAdam…....etc.
Again, if you start for VT at DB—90% chance you’re gonna play in the League.

D.B.U. Sorry if it stings!
Sting?? I’ve only heard of like three of those dudes you mentioned… Every schools says RBU… LBU… etc. etc. etc… but it doesn’t mean anything… I don’t claim FSU to be DBU but we produced much better DBs than VT has… Sorry if THAT stings.
Where is Macho Harris now by the way?? I think he’s on stub hub looking for a ticket.
The only 2 players worth a damn to come out of VT (at this moment in time) is Mike Vick and Eddie Royal.
By the way… Today… First Take on ESPN did back to back segments on Antonio Cromartie and Prime saying what incredible athletes they are.
Agree. They’re phenomenal athletes.
To date VT has produced 1 1st round DB (DeAngelo Hall ‘04). FSU has produced 8, the 2 most recent are Antonio Cromartie in ‘06 and Patrick Robinson in ‘10.

Again. This is about putting folks in the NFL. Doesn’t matter what round. Again….. You start for VT you will have an opportunity to play in the NFL.
AGAIN….D.B.U.
FSU has an outstanding DB history. Quite heavy at the top. Just don’t think y’all have had the depth. That’s my point.

To date, 37 DB’s have been drafted from FSU and 29 from VT. Looks like we have a lot of depth there.

FSU still doesn’t have any Cromartie, Sanders or Buckley types but they are stocking up on good athletes and getting closer. Greene is a very good receiver.
Reid was a good corner but certainly no Sanders, he can easily be replaced by Brooks, Tyler Hunter, Darby and Waisome. Although Waisome hasn’t looked that good to date. It is Reid’s punt returning that will be missed.
Tyler Hunter is actually bigger and faster than Reid but not as experienced.
Then there is the freshman P.J. Williams coming in, four star, armour all american, 6a all state, 4.4 forty, has all the tools. At 6-2 he can play corner or safety as Keelin Smith can.
DT wise Timmy Jernigan will be unequaled this year providing he stays healthy but even if he doesn’t the defensive line is loaded.

Agree about Reid. Seems he was $1 million talent with a $0.10 head. Don’t think his dismissal will hurt y’all a bit.
