Not going to have much luck recruiting in the state of Georgia doing stuff like this.

I hope this kid gets his knee right and goes on to have some success because it appears that he did everything the right way.

I have always held firm to my belief that both sides should honor their verbal commitments to one another. However, if players are going to do this sort of thing, I don’t think people should make such a huge deal out of it when coaches do it. I understand that the players are only 17-year old kids, but I am very staunch in my belief that your word should mean something.

Can’t speak for other schools, but I know for a fact that Clemson has held this up for players who could no longer play.  J.K. Jay had a sever back injury and had to walk away from football his freshman year but still remained on scholarship.  There was also a LB who was paralyzed before arriving on campus but Dabo also honored his scholly as well.  But I guess Ole Piss needs every scholarship they can get…..
