I tend to agree with you, Jeremy. Defense wins championships. Although Arkansas will likely be improved on defense this season, they are still not the caliber of LSU or Alabama.

I agree with most of all that. I think it’s definatly two main obstcales in Bamer and LSU. But even the rest of their schedule doesn’t set up well for them. They are just not that (Bamer, LSC, Cocky) good on defense not good enough to win the SEC anyway.

9-3 feels about right for the Hogs. They’ll win one of those big three games and then drop a head-scratcher somewhere (A&M, MSU) in typical John L. Smith fashion.
