Branden did everything right in this situation. He came directly back to Athens and took a drug test and from what I’ve been told has been tested weekly since April and has been clean every time. The charges have been dropped after his completion of the state of Alabama trial diversion program and he passed all of their drug tests too.

Before i say this, let me preface it with i havnt heard 1 thing from UGA fans about watkins.

BUT, would it be wrong for me to point at precidence set when trying to explain to cockfans exactly why they are rediculous for saying watkin’s punishment is a joke?

This decision by Coach Richt has certainly opened up the gates for criticism. I’m going to say that with as much discipline as this guy has had to hand out, and I know that sounds bad but it is what it is at this point, I’m going to trust that CMR cleared Smith for a good reason.
