If they spent a quarter of the time working on football, that they do working on new uniforms they might have some success on the field. My god. Another year, another god awful Maryland uniform.
If it builds excitement for their players and fans…good for them. I am all about it then.
The program needs some flash because they have a tough road to hoe to get back to where they once were. Sounds like Locksley is a beast recruiter and they sit on a ton of talent in the DC area…
Anyone that thinks this stuff doesn’t matter needs to see Oregon and I suspect Under Armor can do the same type of thing for the Terps.

You stole my thunder. Oregon’s Uniforms really brought some attention to their program. The fact that we are talking about Maryland football in any form is a step up. There was a rumor that they we considering a Black Turf.
I think Maryland’s helmet detracts from the rest of their uniform. I think a plain white helmet or a white helmet with a big “M” could look nice.
Maryland is sorta a mysterious team right now. In some ways they are like Miami at the moment; 2nd year coach, lost alot of people off last year’s team, strong at the LBer position, got some young studs that ought to play right away.
