Whoa! That’s bad.

Yeah the split helmets are attrocious, but I don’t find the jersey’s that bad.  I think I saw a pic of the helmet somewhere else and it looks like it’s not even split evenly down the middles it’s like 60/40 gold/blue leprechaun.

It’s sad it has come to this. Teams like Oregon, Maryland, Oklahoma State - yeah it makes sense for them to design all kinds of uniforms, because they need to make a splash nationally due to a lack of tradition. Notre Dame should never have to do this. I can live with the jerseys for one game, they’re not my favorite, but no big deal. However, as an alumnus, the helmet is borderline offensive. You don’t mess with the gold helmets.

Those unis are truly awful, but c’mon nothing compares to the amazing technicolor dream turtles.  It’s like they had a contest for color-blind psychotics

What did you think of last year’s helmet with the clover on it?  I think that was better than the traditional all gold helmet, but you’re right, this one is just anemic/schitsophranic.

At least Oregon tends to keep the same O year in and year out, the color changes.  Whats wrong with a simple color change why do teams have to do all these patterns, spilts, crazy things??

Makes Oregon’s changes look tame now honestly.  I’ve liked Oregon’s changes for the past few years.

I liked last year’s. Thought the whole uniform ND wore against Michigan was solid.

That is just awful!  The 60% gold side isn’t just gold, it’s like a gold disco ball.  Can’t believe ND would actually do that.
