He may not be such a good coach but with the Duke Cheerleaders comment from his time at Carolina and this with State fans, I like his talk…I am sure the State responses were equally funny.

Sounds just like a UNC man to me! The students seem to take after him, or him after the students. They don’t do crap in AFAM program and still get a degree, he doesn’t work and still gets paid. One of the smartest players he coached had a 1.8 GPA…..speaks volumes for his other players, he had superstars.

You realize the school you pull for, and werent good enough to go to, gave a degree to Tree Rollins who later admitted HE COULD NOT READ!!!!! Oh and you paid him in cash and cars to “earn” that degree. For a basketball player…at Clemson.
I wonder what football players were getting during those years… if that was the going rate for Clemson roundball that yall love so dearly.
I got a cert from a community college for work after I left the Military. I went to college prior to the military. I was just trying to build a bridge of commonality. Every time I have done that you have acted like a complete jackass. Every time I try to make peace or leave it alone you make a jackass post.

I actually graduated from UNC. I actually donate to the school and athletic programs. I also don’t say “we” when referring to the teams or school. I’m disappointed by the goings on in the school of African American studies. It’s a real shame a university that has educated thousands for over 200 years is being sullied like this. It’s also a small picture of the a larger problem in college football. NCSU also has an AFAM major. When my wife studied there they had a class about weaving baskets! It’s a shame places established for preparing citizens to contribute to society must also bring along less talented students on the back end to field athletic teams. It happens everywhere. “oral” final exams. Grad students administering “final exams”, etc.. Perhaps we should celebrate true student athletes, like Tyler Zeller. Maybe Steve McHale, who went on from the basketball program to med school. I’m sure every school has stories like these.
Yes, UNC is being exposed for it’s short comings. Yes, there will be whatever there is from it. One thing that will keep going is time, and hopefully the lessons learned in this case will help prevent reoccurences. However it goes
