I got these from SBG Global as a point of reference:

My picks are against the point spread FYI

South Carolina vs Vandy (USC -7)

I’ll take South Carolina although this is a game that USC could lose.

Texas A&M vs La Tech (aTm -7)

Hard not to pick aTm on this.  Kinda low spread IMO

Tennessee vs NC State (UT -3)

Going with the Wolfpack on this one

Boise State vs Michigan State (MSU -7)

No Smurf turf no win.  MSU on this one

WVU vs Marshall (WVU -24)

Will WVU hit a 24 point lead before benching the 1st string?...Yes

Georgia vs Buffalo (UGa - 37.5)

I am picking Buffalo and the points.  Uga will win big though

Miami vs Boston College (Miami -1)

Gotta take “The U”  BC is going to be horrible.

Clemson vs Auburn (Clemson -3)

GO TIGERS!

Michigan vs Alabama (Bama -12.5)

Michigan and the points all the way.

UK vs Louisville (Louisville-13.5)

Jokers on the way out at UK.  Louisville on this one

Ga Tech Vs VT (VT -7.5)

I am going to take GT on this one.  I question VT’s Offense seriously.

FSU is working on bigger fish to fry. Reports from some of the FSU alumni who follow this closely report that Jim Delaney is a huge fan of adding FSU to the Big 10. He seems to be quite impressed that FSU is working toward AAU status. The CIC money awarded to research schools in in the billions. This would help FSU reach AAU status very rapidly.

South Carolina vs Vandy (USC -7)

I’ll take the Gamedicks on this one.  If it were 10 or 14, I’d roll with Vandy/points.

Texas A&M vs La Tech (aTm -7)

Hard not to pick aTm on this.  Kinda low spread IMO.  AGREED

Tennessee vs NC State (UT -3)

Also going with the Wolfsack

Boise State vs Michigan State (MSU -7)

MSU for sure.  No Keller, no win.

WVU vs Marshall (WVU -24)

I don’t see Holgerson calling off the dogs until they reach triple digits cause that’s the kind of man he is.

Georgia vs Buffalo (UGa - 37.5)

Also picking the Buffalo and the points.

Miami vs Boston College (Miami -1)

Also taking “der U” but this game in general will be horrible.

Clemson vs Auburn (Clemson -3)

I’m taking the Tigers…with a lake.  Auburn has more questions than Clemson.

Michigan vs Alabama (Bama -12.5)

I’m taking Alerbamer.  Michigan’s offense has speed, but so does Bamer’s D.

UK vs Louisville (Louisville-13.5)

Louisville on this one, but will be close to this line.

Ga Tech Vs VT (VT -7.5)

I am going to take GT on this one.  I question VT’s Offense seriously. AGREED 100%.  Also, GT usually shows out early in the season whereas VT usually needs a few games under their belt before they hit their stride.  PJ will have his team ready to rush for 400 yds.

Don’t sleep on LA Tech. Sonny Dykes will get a BCS-level job in the next year or two. Lost to Houston by 1, So. Miss by 2, Miss. State by 6 and TCU by 7 last year.

I do think A&M survives that one though, barely.

I actually think BC will beat Miami. BC is a veteran team vs Miami’s very young team with alot of those guys playing in their first game.

Miami plays at Sun Life Stadium. They’re used to it.

True, but remember, they could have about 4,000 on hand.  And 1 yankee = 10 southerners in voice volume because they constantly yell when they talk.  so really it’s more like 40K.  While the crowd noise will probably be more about how the popcorn is dry rather than actual game insights/support, there will be noise due to their overly loud speaking voices.

Oh yeah; assuming “Go Tigers!” means Clemson covers, you read my mind on every pick. Or I read your mind, and agreed. Either way, I like the picks.

LOL at obnoxious yankees.  So true.

South Carolina vs Vandy (USC -7)

USC by 14

Texas A&M vs La Tech (aTm -7)

aTm by 10

Tennessee vs NC State (UT -3)

Really depends on Glennon…  I’ll take UT though.

Boise State vs Michigan State (MSU -7)

Boise lost too much.  Id say MSU by 10-14

WVU vs Marshall (WVU -24)

WVU—->  blowout

Georgia vs Buffalo (UGa - 37.5)

I’ll pick buffao (the pts)  but UGA wins by 21

Miami vs Boston College (Miami -1)

Miami by 10

Clemson vs Auburn (Clemson -3)

Tough one…  I hope Clemson owns them but it could go either way

Michigan vs Alabama (Bama -12.5)

I’ll take bama…  winning by 2 TDs

UK vs Louisville (Louisville-13.5)

No idea…

Ga Tech vs VT (VT -7.5)

I’d say GT.  They typically start out strong then fade half way through the season.  People say the extra prep time will help against GT… but since we have no previous game film for THIS season… I think the extra prep time isnt an advantage… I think Johnson will throw in some wrinkles.  GT had the momentum in the last game until Logan THomas was punched…  If it hadnt been for that GT would have won that game

South Carolina vs Vandy (USC -7)
Gamecocks all the way. Not even close. USC 38 Vandy 10

Texas A&M vs La Tech (aTm -7)
Close game due to nasty weather. A&M by 6

Tennessee vs NC State (UT -3)
Pack by 1

Boise State vs Michigan State (MSU -7)
Sparty wins big. No Kellen Moore proves to be disastrous for the Broncos. MSU 44 BSU 13

WVU vs Marshall (WVU -24)
WVU wins big. Might not score 70. 55-24

Georgia vs Buffalo (UGa - 37.5)
Dawgs have something to prove. 48-3

Miami vs Boston College (Miami -1)
Ugly game. Miami 13-10

Clemson vs Auburn (Clemson -3)
Clemson comes out hot and wins 38-17

Michigan vs Alabama (Bama -12.5)
Closer game then most think. Bama 24-21

UK vs Louisville (Louisville-13.5)
UK is terrible. Cards 35-7

IMO:

South Carolina vs Vandy (USC -7)

Vandy pulls the upset, close, on a rainy blackout day in Nashville.  This isn’t Vandy of the past.  They are hungry for a game like this.

Texas A&M vs La Tech (aTm -7)

A&M, La Tech just won’t be able to hang the whole game.

Tennessee vs NC State (UT -3)

NCST, UT just isn’t ready and after losing DaRick UT will be even more in a hole.

Boise State vs Michigan State (MSU -7)

MSU all the way, BSU has no chance.  Lost to much, will be a non factor this year in college football.

WVU vs Marshall (WVU -24)

WVU in a rout.

Georgia vs Buffalo (UGa - 37.5)

UGA in a rout.

Miami vs Boston College (Miami -1)

Miami wins, but talk about a boring game.  Will there be more then 2k people in the stands?

Clemson vs Auburn (Clemson -3)

Clemson runs away with it.  Clemson offense WILL score points, Clemson defense will be much improved and hold enough to get some stops.  Auburn just doesn’t have the horsepower to keep up.  It won’t be as close as people think IMO.

Michigan vs Alabama (Bama -12.5)

Toughest one to pick.  Both are good teams, Bama lost a lot last year but they somehow always reload and are ready to play.  Michigan still has tons of talent.  I have to take Bama because of coaching, but don’t be surprised if Michigan puts up a fight.

UK vs Louisville (Louisville-13.5)

Louisville

Ga Tech Vs VT (VT -7.5)

I’ll take VT in this one.  Shaky pick though as this could go either way.
