Im double accounting a little for the games opponents played against clemson and fsu, but just stick to the law of avgs. the ratio is how many yards you would have earned for each yard you put up against that defense.

Since nobody else will ask I will…......Where are you going with this?  Is there a point to your stats?

I think the point is teams are over-performing vs. FSU relative to their season avg vs all opponents.  if the numbers hold true for this game FSU will gain 582 yds and Clemson will gain 1215 yds.  SWEET!

i was just trying to throw some info out there. i dont think our defense is so bad, our avg yds allowed is less than our opponents avg yards/gm, fsu’s stats are impressive, dont bite my head off, but holding sav state to 70 yards isnt too impressive when they avg 85, and they havnt played anyone that comes close to our offensive output.

I just wanted to provide some hard facts to back up the whole “our defense is inpenetrable, our offense is unstoppable” arguments.

Also, Savanah State didn’t play a full game against them (like it would have mattered), but still, they would have at least put up SOMETHING else.

Not like it matters but Savannah State had 28 total yards of offense (19rush 9pass) on 33 plays (0.6avg) vs FSU, not 70, i don’t know where you came up with 70 from.

FYI, that 83.5 avg per game was AFTER they played FSU. They had 139 yards vs OKST.
