I see a lot of people calling for the upset here….look the Manziel kid is a tremendous talent but I just don’t see it. Bamer played a very emotional and physical game last week at LSU. In their minds I think they feel that was their only real challenge to get their path set to Miami. Winning in Baton Rouge during the day, evening, or night ain’t an easy thing to do. I expect the Tide to be loose and ready to show why they are #1 today. aTm’s QB is a special player but it’s going to take a whole lot more than one great football player to beat Alabama in T-Town. I just can’t help but seeing the Tide Roll in this one.

If Manziel leads the Aggies to the upset, does that move him to the front of the Heisman Trophy race? And, secondly does anyone think they would give the trophy to a freshmen?

IF…IF Johnny Football beats Alabama in Tuscaloosa…wins out and goes to the SECCG. He should be in NY…now is he going to win over Oregon’s Kenjon Barner or K-State’s Colin Klein. I don’t know if that is going to happen.

-He wouldn’t win the southeast votes for the Heisman after possibly knocking the “SEC, SEC, SEC,...” out of the MNC.

-Secondly, I think they would. They seem pretty eager to give to a defensive player. What a great historical headline it could be with a defensive player or a freshman winning it.
