Yeah they are $4, cheaper than high school games. Swofford is a genius. Too dumb follow the lead of the PAC 12 and have the game in the winner’s stadium. Tobacco road might lose out on some $4 tickets. Better to get smashing in sleet storm at night.
No it’s Swofford’s fault for letting UM back out. Do you think Slive would have let that happen? Swofford is an idiot. Hope you like the NC big 4 in the ACC all by themselves (with maybe a few BE teams).
How is it North Carolina’s fault? Because of probation? I think that is a stretch. How bout it is all the teams in the conferences’ fault for not being very good.
Do I think Miami should have made this decision a year ago? Sure. Miami is DEFINITELY GUILTY of poor leadership and oversight. But I forgot about the part about how a commish can order a school to do things internally. Where is that written again? Yes I most definitely think Slive would let that happen becuase he would have no power to stop it. Of course it wouldn’t happen in your conference, blatant paying of players and donations to churches happens all the time and is unpunished so there is no problem to begin with. We call that Big Time or Big Boy football I think. Spare me the response because you know it is true. At least Miami and Carolina are taking their medicine.
There is no doubt that a Morehead Scholar, a college QB, an AD at age 33 of an athletic department much larger and more successful than South Carolina, and a 20 year leader of a conference is an idiot. A guy who has kept his conference viable despite failure after failure on the part of the teams in his conference to show up. What an idiot.
UNC would bring a lot of fans had they been in the game. Might not sell out, but it wouldn’t be like this. My point is Charlotte is fine if VT, Clemson and/or one of the North Carolina schools is in the game.
The scalpers in Atlanta were selling SEC tickets for $1,000.00 each.
They were $175.00 tickets. Sold Out. 72,000 seats.
I watched the FSU/GT game twice and it wasn’t easy to watch, real problems there.
You have a geography problem and should have the game at the home field of the team with the most wins that year in the conference.
