YAWN.  This one might be worse then watching that horrid ACC Championship game.  Kind of glad we didn’t get the Orange Bowl this year….even with a “BCS Win” everyone will remember who you played.  Nothing you can do about it I know….but still.

N Illinois does not belong.  If FSU does not win this one easily then something is wrong with FSU.  This is a game where recruiting and talent on the field should outweigh any other hype the other team has.  A Duke situation if you will.

I’m glad Clemson didn’t make it to the Orange Bowl too. Not sure why you are so worried about FSU having serious problems if they don’t do this or that every week, I’d be more worried about that D in the “Peach Bowl”.

How does Northern Ill. jump from 21 to 15 in the BSC after beating Kent St. in OT? What a ridiculous system college football has, the sport used to be so much better before all the money. The number of bowl games is stupid too.

High School, FCS, Division 2, Division 3, NFL, CFL, and Arena football with their idiotic playoff systems. One day they’ll learn that it should be determined by computers.

FSU will beat Northern Ill by at least 50 points.

Does Wake, Duke, Maryland, Virginia, NCST,  NC , deserve to be on the field with FSU ?

lol, FSU fans sincerely apologize for allowing NIU to play in a BSC bowl game. We will try to make sure the computers rank teams better next time. What a system!

FSU’s last 4 bowls= wins over Wisconsin, West Virginia, South Carolina, Notre Dame.

NIU’s last 4 bowls= losses to La. Tech and South Florida, wins over Fresno St. and Arkansas St.

No win situation for FSU. I hate to see that in what should be a big bowl.

FSU needs to put the peddle to the metal and beat down NIU setting up a preseason ranking with a QB who doesn’t give games away.

i think this kind of situation (maybe not this one specifically) is going to eventually lead to the demise of the SEC. Think about how many better teams there are who are cant go to the BCS because 2 other teams already are going from that conference

Clem that is why I said I would rather have seen FSU play LSU or UGA for that matter. If FSU wins well they were supposed to, if it is close, bring on the cliff jumpers.

Of course with some of the games Jimbo has called lately we never know what is going to happen. Will Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde show up?
