I do agree that we’re like the player known for fouling in basketball. If he’s near the ball, he gets a foul called on him regardless of whether he did or not.

While I do think the ACC stinks overall due to some pitiful programs, one major problem is the ACC plays the SEC teams MUCH more than anyone else. If the Big Ten or Big 12 or PAC 12 played the SEC teams as often as we do, they may be regulated to the red-headed step-child status. Clemson will play three SEC teams this year.

That’s not an excuse for the lack of quality teams this year but it is a fact that other conferences don’t have to deal with year in and year out.

i still say pound for pound the big 12 was superior top to bottom this year
