What is the appropriate way for an over-the-hill athlete to wear a football jersey?  Tucked or Untucked?

My son gave me a great jersey and I’d like to wear it, but I don’t want to be a laughing stock…..

BJ showed me that and I love it. Very sharp Sir very sharp. Id go untucked but you really need The Klimp and Matt to weigh in. They are our resident fashion police.

I say untucked.  Unless it’s so long it’s like a dress or you’re wearing actual football pants (which you probably shouldn’t do). 
Cool jersey.  Is it authentic?  What does the patch signify?

Untucked just like the picture IMO.

The US Military Academy wears the patches of units during the season if the unit is deployed.  The jersey is #11 for Infantry.  The 11 Military Occupational Skill Code (MOS)has a designated color of light blue.  The Infantry Cord is worn by soldiers on their dress blues.  The patch on this jersey is of the 48th Infantry Brigade, Georgia Army National Guard.  While I was deployed with the 48th the USMA wore our patch on their uniform in the game against Navy.

I just bought a #5 garnet Nike FSU jersey. The regular price was $50, got it for $25. Too good of a deal to pass up. The number was formerly worn by Greg Reid, #5 is now occupied by…....Jameis Winston.

I’ve found the best way to get good (non-Walmart) cheap school gear is to go to TJ Maxx and Marshall’s as long as the store’s among the fanbase.  I used to get great Clemson stuff in Charleston.  Not so much in St. Louis. 

I found this deal in the most unlikely place, at the Seminole store in the Tucker center before FSU got crushed by UF in the basketball game.

Etiquette, Jersey ..... I will withhold comment. I have been there.

I’m a little late to the party, but untucked is definitely the way to go. An untucked jersey with khaki shorts is always a good look.
