I saw this morning that Xavier Rhodes is entering the draft.  We’ve already seen B Jenkins, Lattimore, Gio Bernard, Corey Lemonier and Antone Exum declare.  The German is expected to make a decision soon.  I think Nuk Hopkins will go, but I’m not certain it’s a lock.  Maybe 80/20 he goes.  That Bowl game did a lot for his draft stock.  Anybody else?

i think hopkins is gone, would be pretty glorious if they stayed around.

I would absolutely shocked if Werner and Hopkins don’t enter the draft. I think LaMarcus Joyner is more up in the air.

Where would you all place Hopkins if he enters the draft?  Where overall and where in the WRs?

Hopkins is 2, maybe 3 rounder due to lack of top end speed. He’ll be a great slot or boundary side WR though. Phenomial hands, great route runner, strong enough to clear press coverage.

I think he goes in the 2nd round. His measurables may be just slightly lower than some of the “elite” wide receivers, but his routes are precise and he simply know how to catch the football. I think he would be a very nice addition to any NFL team.

Not sure where you’re getting your info, but Exum has NOT declared….and the prevailing thought around Blacksburg is that he’ll return. I suppose time will tell however.

Elam and Floyd from Florida announced they are going pro last night. Those are going to be big losses for the Gata on defense.

Reports are that Werner is turning pro. Not a surprise.

I know FSU is still loaded on the defensive line, but it will be nice to not have to deal with Jenkins, Werner or Carradine anymore. Bring on Mario Edwards.

My dream NFL draft scenario (if Boyd and Hopkins both choose to leave) is for the Bills to hire Chip Kelly, draft Boyd in the 1st and Hopkins in the 2nd.  Boyd, Hopkins, and Spiller in a Chip Kelly offense…..can you imagine?!  Hell I’d like to see Spiller alone in that offense. lol

I personally think our best linebacker is Telvin Smith. I think CJ could use another year. Joyner is a great, great player who will be the leader of the defense.

3 DBs declared today. LSU’s Eric Reid and Tharold Simon and N.C. State’s David Amerson are going pro.
