Just wanted to point out that the game is on ESPN today at 5. As is the case every year, a lot of future ACC and SEC players will be playing in the game.
Who are you guys excited to see today? Personally, I want to how Georgia commit Brice Ramsey will perform.
Looking like 5 commitments coming during the game:
Fla. CB Leon McQuay III (USC/Vandy/FSU)
N.Y. DE Ebenezer Ogundeko (Clemson/Syracuse)
Ga. LB Trey Johnson (Florida/Ohio State)
La. ATH Kendall Beckwith (Alabama/LSU)
Calif. S Max Redfield (ND lean)
For those that follow this closely, is Ogundeko have the skill set to be an impact player next year? Please, no orange-colored glasses, just an honest evaluation.
Glad to see us get Ogundeko. I like what I see from Boulware.
Boulware is a gamer for sure. I’ve seen him get a PBU, a monster hit and an INT. Seems to always be around the ball. Man, I wish we could’ve got Vernon Hargreaves III. Very impressive.
Not sure if Ogundeko is an immediate impact player, but I think he’s equal to the other DE we lost, Elijah Daniel. Hard to judge. Like Scott Pagano, he doesn’t exactly play in a football hotbed. I haven’t seen too much from him in this game so far.

I say he sits a year or 2 before getting significant time. Crawford and Barnes are also 4* guys as is Dodd but I think he was over rated. The real question is, will be play DE or LB? Also, do you think this might scare off C. Lawson now that we have 3 potential DE’s? I like what I see from Carl and would live him to complement Adams if we can land him.
There were a lot of defensive stars on the field today. You expect the defense to be ahead of the offense in that kind of situation, but you could really tell the tremendous amount of athleticism on the defensive side of the ball. A guy who impressed me a lot was safety Vonn Bell….if only Georgia was still in it with him.

He may have a chance to play next year. I didn’t realize he’s an early enrolee, starting classes next week. He said the coaches told him he’d play the ‘jack’, DE/OLB. They list him at 6’3”, 230, but he looks bigger than that.
