I would hope Morris is settled in for another year here. Oregon can hire a temp coach for a year an go after some larger fish next year? I don’t know. I could see their OC being a candidate.

I sincerely hope that Kelly doesn’t change his philosophical approach to the game. So many people argue that “his system would never work in the NFL”. It is time to find out once and for all.

Indeed. I’m wondering to see if they try to stick it out with Michael Vick or if they try to draft a new QB this year to fit his system. With Vick’s age and recent string of injuries, I’d start shopping around if I were GM.
I don’t think there are any top quarterback prospects in this draft that would be considered a “perfect fit” for Kelly’s system. A lot of slow pocket passers in this crop of QBs
on another thread ancient said he was looking for geno to the eagles. maybe or maybe not, but the real tell tale of if the GM is going to let him continue his offensive strategy is going to be the ammount of support he gets to go get the QB he needs for his system….tebow to the eagles?
I don’t think Teebow is fast enough to run the Oregon offense. Where has Vince Young gone? Didn’t the Bills cut him? If he were in good shape physically, I’d see about picking him up for the league minimum. Wait, didn’t the Eagles already try that, I can’t remember.
