VT fans (and anyone w/an opinion on the subject), what are your thoughts on the new offense hires?  I like this group…the more I read about this collective group, the more I am liking the road ahead.

Here is what Sean Glennon thinks of the situation: http://www.southernpigskin.com/sec/view/is-scot-loeffler-the-right-guy-for-tech

I really thought Loeffler did a poor job of making adjustments to his scheme at Auburn, but I think the personnel in Blacksburg better fits his style.

I think Beamer was strange during the press conference.  I think he was apologizing or making excuses too much.

With that said, these new guys can talk the talk.  We’ll see if they can walk the walk!!!

I mean it certainly provides hope… I’d like to see what the season holds before I say good or bad.

Yall have prolly figured out im not an ACC homer, but i do recognize the benefit it gives clemson when the rest of the conference performs. I also respect the hell out of Frank Beamer, Hes a true role model and not just in a football sense, but as a man. I know he doesnt have too much time left in his carreer and id love to see him go back on top….second from the top after clemson…he deserves that. For those reasons im really excited to see what this VT staff can come up with

What is interesting is that, despite the down season, Virginia Tech is recruiting better than ever if you go by the national recruiting services. I don’t expect the Hokies to remain mediocre for long.

Shane Beamer has helped, and they’ve done much better in the Tidewater after London and UVA smoked VT there in 2012.

FIFY.  We wiped the floor with them in 2011-12 and 2012-13.

I won’t be money but I’ll wager avatar’s….I’ll use a Logan Thomas Avatar for an entire season if I lose and if I win you have to have some type of Clemson Avatar.
