How do yall feel about him the day before?

Well if “sources” haven’t said we were fading the last 2 days I would feel like he was a lock.  But sometimes you can’t trust the talking heads.  Clemson is as good as any other CFB program, we recruited him early, his parents like it here, his coach likes Clemson, he’s a quiet kid.  He really seems like a perfect fit so I still have a decent amount of confidence.

Felt he was a lock for a while…...not sure how credible these sources are.  Mt Adams has been one of the most tight lipped recruits to date, why would stuff slip now the day before?  Not sure I can believe it but don’t feel as confident anymore tbh.  Especially with Lawson heading to Auburn.  My gut says Adams is leaning Auburn, and Clemson would be a nice surprise.

I feel better about Mac Alexander than Adams at this point.  I think he follows his buddy Lawson to Auburn.  If we could have turned Lawson I think the floodgates could have opened for a big day.  Either way, I like the class we have.  Needs have been addressed and 2014 is off to a good start.  I like that Dabo and Co. have been out in front of recruiting.  They’ve been first to offer a lot of these bigtime recruits which helps keep the foot in the door.  Also, guys like Adam Humphries and Grady Jarrett among others, and this year Ben Boulware, who until the all-star games was a recruiting afterthought, give me confidence that Clemson’s player evaluation is solid regardless of star ratings.

Speaking of addressing needs, thats who we REALLY need to lock on tomorrow, Alexander.  We need a secondary and some depth at it.

I too feel good about the class, Adams or not.

Yea I’ve been really impressed by how early we got to A LOT of top recruits.  Dabo’s greatest strength is recruiting and it shows.  I truly believe if we didn’t have to fight the SEC hype we would get top 5 classes with him pretty consistently.

He’s picking Auburn.  Look at the choice of hats.  He picked out the Auburn, then told someone to pick up hats from the other schools to lay on the table.

Hope he enjoys a mediocre team at best and a lakeless Clemson.

you might be right.  UGA might have a chance but Clemson and Bama’s hats are too odd unless he pulls one out his jacket or something.

So did he look at the Clemson roster and realize we too deep?  He wouldn’t have startd as a FR, but would have played some.  He would have been behind Williams, Reader and Watkins as the major backups.

Maybe they just don’t get that Clemson is a few defensive changes from an unstoppable team.  Alexander is a huge get.  I think we’ll be just fine.

All we gotta do is get a few more oak trees and a chickfila and we would be golden.  Guess Clemson doesn’t have enough of those already…...
