Hey, I’m on a golden paved road to success…..I think I’m going to take a crap on it said 4 Alabama football players. Without reading it was at Alabama my next guess would of been South Carolina.
You know some idiot is going to spin this into a reason why players should be paid.
You’re not in the hood anymore, guys. The No Snitching rules do not apply.
In some weird way, this may be a good thing for Alabama. The Crimson Tide were potentially looking at scholarship issues due to over-signing, so this obviously would help that problem. It also helps Nick Saban look like a good guy because he is being “strict” with his discipline policy.

i applaud nick for taking any action at all, but “indefinite suspension” for armed robbery? outside the SEC it would have been immediate dismissal if not expulsion

i bet they had deer antler spray too
He may not have to do anything about it. I believe there’s a 2-20 year jail sentence for this kind of crime. Either way, Saban will first issue an “indefinite suspension”, then once all of the legal action has come out, he makes the move. Calloway may be the only of the 4 who has a chance to stay (wasn’t in on the robberies just used a stolen card at a vending machine) but the other 3 are basically out the door already, IMO.

Well I hope “innocent until proven guilty” still applies. If they’re found guilty they can be dismissed.
innocent until proven guilty applies, however theres also the whole public appearance clauses that go into these scholarships. the schools and coaches can can a kid for having the appearance of criminal activities.
