New Reason FSU and Clemson May Go To The Big 12

I hadn’t thought of this but is makes sense:

If the SEC and their New Networks snatches up VT and NC State to expand their footprint in these states, Clemson and FSU may have no choice for the health of their schools.

There is this game on tonight called the Super Bowl. Whoever wins, we will be certain of the following things:

1. ESPN will not influence the participants in the game.

2. The champion will be decided on the FIELD!

3. Both teams in the title game at least won their divisions.

4. A lunatic fringe fan of the losing team will not poison any trees of the winning team’s facilities.

And last, but not least…..

5. At least we will see SOME offense in this game!!!!

Directional schools will forever be in the shadow of their instate counterparts. Seems like they could change their name to say “East Coast University” and raise their academic standards. Could you imagine Baylor being Central Texas University?

Of a total of 16 players both schools were after FSU signed 9 of them. Of course bama has the number one class in the country as FSU had limited space to sign a large class.

We are really excited that Matt Osborne has officially come on board with us at Southernpigskin.com as a full time staff member.

You guys know Matt. He’s been writing with us and posting on our forums. He’s relocated down here from Atlanta and is now working with us full time.

Matt is a great guy, really knowledgeable and really connected in the ACC and SoCon and SEC. Matt comes to us from Scout.com among other mainstream sports and recruiting sites.
