Great game, but neither team can run the ball at all. Miami failing inside the 3 and FSU from inside the two, trying to throw….tsk tsk tsk - until you can line up and smash someone in the mouth, you’re still gonna be 2nd rate. Trickett’s line never took control of the game, and Miami only rushed 4 players all night and let ponder do whatever he wanted. They got a little more pressure in the 2nd half, and as usual FSU looked confused when everything was on the line, running 18 seconds off the clock, killing their chance. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO RUN THE FOOTBALL.
What a great game… it made it a lot easier to procrastinate on homework. I thought cooper and james for miami played well and I was impressed with their speed, both teams looked extremely fast… Hopefully tech can find a way to slow down miami here in a couple weeks
ultimately, FSU’s O line did nothing to Miami - the great Trickett, didn’t have his guys ready, and only ran the ball well for about a minute there late in the game, then abandoned it. Miami rushed 4 all night long. What do you think will happen when Florida gets ahold of them, or for that case, BYU. and if Miami scored 38, the gators will hang 70 on that Defense. Confused, disorganized, nice job letting the clock run there at the end of the game, genius Jimbo lost track of that i guess. FSU got exposed at home on national tv for what they are. Weak, disorganized, undisciplined - all in all what I’ve said all along, a program in real trouble. Even Bobby chimed in at the end drawing a play on his hand like it was a spelling bee LOL. good job canes, now i can go back to hating ya’ll too!
This is one of those games where I can’t see how FSU fans could feel disappointed. Awesome game. FSU and Miami are both starting to look like football teams again.

I still think FSU and UNC will both be 5-1 going into thursday night Oct 22. FSU will beat BYU and South Florida. Those were two top 15 teams last night IMO, but not top 10.

Thanks for reminding me why I hate gators. The last thing FSU is worried about is the offensive line. It has been a long time since an FSU quarterback stayed upright and drilled the football. Yeah they went away from the running game somewhat Ponder was on a streak but when they needed it late it was there like it will be every game when the FSU oline has beat most teams defense to death.
The problem is the defense, it sucks there was no pass rush or pressure on Harris, none zip. Uf probably will lay 70 on this defense unless there is a miraculous turn around.
Sem… until you guys strap it up and out physical a defense, your going to be average. It’s that simple my arch rival. That simple….
Your offensive line is not physical and you can’t control the line of scrimmage. Yes, your defense is lacking, but it all starts up front. It’s not your coaches mentality to be physical. It never has been and until you guys take control of the line of scrimmage you’ll win some, but also lose more.

LOl Al Capone LOL I love that one. I like how you blame the D for not being able to run a 2yard dive play, or even manage the clock. Ponder looked fine, I’ll give you that until he got any sort of pressure. Miami couldn’t run either. The Noles are not only soft, they are soft hearted and that’s a shame. Jimbo is a joke, you can’t run away from a fight, and he knew they wouldn’t fight it out between the tackles, I’m surprised we didn’t see a flea flicker or statue play. He knows what they are, and they are soft.
I wouldn’t even speculate on Miami games until the chinless wonder gets up enough guts to put them back on the schedule. That is what you call gutless.
